Lifting mixer
The Post hoists are used for many applications within the pharmaceutical industry. Common applications include lifting bins over the inlet of process equipment for filling, or by fitting the blending carriage the post hoist becomes a blender.
The hoists use a rack and pinion lifting mechanism which rated at four time the working load of the hoist, thus eliminating the risk associated with chain breakages in the other design hoists.
The lifting/lower drive is via an electric motor with brake. In the event of loss of power to the hoist, the load will remain in the same position; any risk of the carriage slipping associated with the hydraulic lifting system is prevented.
The post hoists don’t use any hydraulic lifts, thus all the non-GMP issues associated with hydraulic system were removed.
The hoists are modular design, ranges of lifting carriages are available. Standard forks used for lifting IBC. By fitting the blender carriage, the post hoist becomes a blender. The weighing forks allows IBC discharging to be controlled. The slewing base of the column allows the column to be swiveled.
